Virgin Land is your outsourced Land Department. We combine a range of technologies, information sources and geospatial data to identify, contact, and bring forward development and acquisition opportunities that fit our clients criteria. We meet with all Clients to understand their business model, location, lot size, permitted development, greehfield or brownfield land. We then overlay various layers of data and use our expert deduction skills to bring forward prospective sites.
You will be using a range of technologies to find land for our clients.
What you will be doing:
After training you will be responsible for searching out land opportunities for Clients. You will need to be commercially savvy and have heaps of business acumen, to brief both Clients and to listen and tease out from interested land owners what their needs are and what might motivate them to sell.
Your skills will include value judgements, on location, prevailing use classes, building height prescedents, and a multitude of other factors including local plan zones, as well as research on planning history and sales prices. To add value you will need to have a keen eye and understand value.
For hot sites you will liaise with planning specialists, trigger contact letters to land owners, and follow up. As an Account Manager for Clients, you will need to be able to articulate the opportunity and the parameters of what might get a deal done.
